Old character generation requirements. New character will have to follow some of the rules below, but not all.

  1. Characters are all human and live in a small village.
  2. Characters ages will be somewhere between 16 and 18.
  3. Characters may not be wizards/priests.
  4. Characters start with 50 pt base with 50 pt disadvantage.
  5. only one of the base stats may be bought up to 15, the rest cannot go above 13.
  6. Characters may only have one skill at a +1.
  7. Characters start with the following groups of everyman skills:
    1. Urban
      • Language: Human (native)
      • Bureaucratics
      • High Society
      • Riding
      • Streetwise
      • Trading
      • AK: Home Town/City
      • PS: Player's Choice
    2. Rural
      • Language: Human (native)
      • Survival
      • Animal Handling
      • Climbing
      • Riding
      • Paramedics
      • AK: Home Countryside
      • PS: Player's Choice

[edit] Characters background

The village that the characters start in had to make some changes about 15 years ago. The village is on the edge of one of the human kingdoms. Trouble started in the form of more fequent attacks by some of the humanoid tribes that live in the forest. The solution was to beef up the number of fighters that the village has. Every 5 years, a group is selected to train more than the others in the village. The characters are one such group. Every week, the character perform their normal jobs/training 4 days of the week. 2 days are spent training together as a team. The last day is free time.

The characters have been formed into a squad by the leader of the town. They are the third such group formed. Training is done by the 2 other groups and the village hunter/woodsman that live outside of town.
